Giesse Smart C.H.I.C.
Concealed actuator for a tilt-and-turn window sash
Giesse presents Smart C.H.I.C., the innovative motorisation system for aluminium tilt-and-turn windows. Based on an actuator that is fully integrated into the profile, the motor – measuring just 17×25 mm – incorporates the drive, electronics and gears into a single compact module that can be installed in conjunction with the Giesse C.H.I.C. concealed hinges
The absence of visible components—cables, batteries, hinges or handles—means that all hardware, including the operating mechanism, can be completely concealed. The system is designed to operate automatically and silently, adapting to the settings specified by the user or by the building’s home automation system, whether in a residential or commercial setting.
Giesse Smart C.H.I.C. is available in two versions: OPEN and PRO.
The OPEN version is equipped with a wired communication interface for integration with the most widely used professional home automation platforms.

The PRO version, thanks to the Bridge module and the Giesse app designed for installers, guides the installation and commissioning process. Installers will also be able to carry out diagnostics and updates without physically accessing the actuator.
Both versions can also be operated by the user using a lug. The removable window handle can be fitted if it is necessary to operate the window manually.
Smart C.H.I.C. PRO is smart home/building ready. It allows connection to external home automation systems and voice assistants, enabling it to be controlled locally or remotely. Through home automation, it can interact with security systems and environmental sensors in the event of an alarm, rain or other detected conditions. The system also supports controlled micro-ventilation, optimising air exchange, acoustic comfort and energy efficiency. All this is achieved with the utmost safety.

Giesse Smart C.H.I.C. is the first product in the new Giesse Smart range of smart, interconnected devices, based on a shared digital platform and common control functions.
